UNDERSTANDING DESTINY
Many people don’t realize just how much Christian theology supports the idea of divine destiny. God actually has a predetermined plan for each one of his children. For example, God said to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations”(Jeremiah 1:5). This scripture suggests that God had a pre-determined plan for Jeremiah and ultimately for all of us!
Psalm 139:15,16 says, “My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, And skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”
A Christian view of destiny also acknowledges that man has been given free-will by God, and was created with the ability to make moral choices. Man ultimately is responsible for his choices and decisions. For example, the fall of man at Eden was a result of Adam and Eve making a choice to disobey God. Deuteronomy 30:15,19 states that God gave to Israel a choice, and desired her to “choose life.” Man lives with the consequences of whatever choices he makes. Therefore a Christian view of destiny makes room for the sovereign will of God, but also, a place for man’s personal choice. For human beings to fulfil our destiny, we must make the right decisions and choices, and align with God’s Will and desires.
WHAT DOES DESTINY MEAN FOR THE BELIEVER?
Apostle Paul wrote that the destiny of every Christian is in Christ. Paul says in Romans 8:28-29, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
Paul also states that every Believer’s destiny is sonship, and to be holy and without fault in our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:4-5, Paul says, “Just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
CORE VALUES
Cultural Transformation: We were created to be Heaven’s conduit to the earth. As children of God and citizens of Heaven, we have a responsibility to transform our culture into one that honours God and reflects His Kingdom (Matthew 6:10).
Character and Personal Growth: We as sons and daughters of God’s Kingdom, have an infinite potential. In order to be effective leaders, we must be on the cutting edge of society’s knowledge, and God’s wisdom, always improving and always growing. We must ultimately possess the image and likeness of God and the character of Christ, in order for Heaven to be established on the earth.
The Supremacy of God’s Kingdom: When we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour we become citizens of a Kingdom, the Kingdom of God. As citizens of this Kingdom, we live according to the values of this Kingdom as found in scripture, and submit our lives to the Lordship of the King, who is Jesus.
Personal Leadership: You cannot lead others or change the culture until you learn to take leadership and responsibility over yourself. Self-discipline is a requirement for personal greatness. It is a Fruit of the Spirit.
Contribution: Personal greatness is of no significance if it doesn’t add value to the lives of others. Unless we have an outward focus for contribution, we will limit our potential and fulfillment in life.
GOVERNING BELIEFS
There is Divine destiny for all of us
God has a predetermined plan for each one of his children. The birth and life of a Christian is not an accident, but pre-planned for the purpose of God.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jere.1: 5).

The Christian view of destiny believes there is a place for the sovereign will of God, but also, there is a place for man’s personal choice. Man is responsible for his choices and decisions
God Is First
Becoming a person of value requires that Christ be held as number one in your life. It is His purpose and insight that leads the life of a true history maker.
It does not matter where you are in life; there is always room to grow. It is impossible to fully reach your potential, and everyone at every level has a ceiling to breakthrough.
Personal Growth Has No Limits
There Is Genius In All Of Us
Each of us possess a part of God that needs to be cultivated and exercised to the point of genius. When that happens in a person, the world can never be the same.
Life Is Predictable
God has created the world to be governed by certain laws and principles, that project a predictable outcome. Those who understand this become creators in their lives and become the “head and not the tail.”
As citizens of a Kingdom not of this world, we who have received the Spirit of Grace, have also been given access to His gifts. The supernatural works of Jesus as outlined in scripture are normal for today’s Believer, and we embrace what the Holy Spirit imparts to us.
The Supernatural is part of Kingdom Culture
Challenge Produces Greatness
Those who run from difficulty will live in mediocrity. It is only those who face challenges, endure through pressure, and choose to press on when others quit, who rise to greatness.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Derek Schneider was once a secular recording artist, until an encounter with Jesus, lead him to turn down a record deal and answer the true call of God for his life.
